Loren was our trainer and he did so well with our Belgian Malinois. His lessons really showed us how to properly use an e collar to intentionally and effectively communicate with our dog. Every lesson was a building block and has helped our mal behave better on leash when she sees other dogs (we initially inquired due to leash reactivity). We can’t say enough positive things about OLK9 Hawaii and her trainer Crystal.  We brought our dog to Crystal when she was about 8/9 months old — we adopted from Humane Society.  While our dog has always been sweet, she was hyper and didn’t know any commands.  She definitely was a handful to take on walks and we couldn’t take her with us to restaurants or anywhere she’d need to be calm.  It took a few lessons to really start seeing a difference, but now she is utterly transformed into a wonderfully behaved dog.  Crystal has an uncanny ability to figure out what techniques work with each dog and adjusts accordingly.  Our dog adores her and we will miss our training sessions.  Now, we can take our dog into a restaurant with confidence knowing she’ll be calm and contented.  I love walking into stores with her and having people compliment her on how well trained she is. We’re so grateful we had Crystal as our dog trainer. From the very beginning, she was incredibly hands-on, patient, and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain the training process and made sure we understood how to continue working with our pups at home. Throughout the training, we saw noticeable progress of Athena and Cosmo’s  behavior. She was always supportive, encouraging, and genuinely cared about helping both us and our dogs succeed. One thing we really appreciated was how flexible she was with our availability. She worked with our schedule, which made the whole process so much easier and less stressful for us. I had a great experience with Off Leash K9 Dog Training and our trainer, Crystal. The training is thorough for you and your dog. It helps you understand the phycology behind the training so the results stick. Our dog had tremendous results. If you have a busy schedule I would recommend the two week board and train. I am so thankful my neighbor referred me here! We took the 8 week classes where you train along side your pup and work directly with a trainer. I wanted to do that particular option because I think it's very important you learn along the way because not only is your dog getting training, but you are too on how to handle your dog properly. These classes taught me so much! I was assigned to Crystal and when I first met her, I noticed her high positive energy and I knew she would be exactly what we needed. She was so easy to talk to, addressed every concern I had in ways that was so simple to correct and learn from. I cant put it in enough words on how much I recommend this company and if you get Crystal, you will be very lucky! You can see her passion in training and she is always happy and so positive! If you’re thinking about training your dog, Off Leash Training is the way to go. We enrolled our 2-year-old Goldendoodle, Kula, in a 3-week board-and-train while we were on a family vacation, and it was absolutely worth every penny. Kula was already a good dog but struggled with puppy-like behaviors such as mouthing and jumping, along with reactivity and impulse control. Loren, our trainer, sent us daily videos showing their progress and Kula’s growing confidence, which we really appreciated. Now we’re continuing everything Kula learned, including extended sit and down, duration work, door manners, greeting manners, and heel. Loren has years of experience and is clearly passionate about teaching both dogs and owners. He explains concepts in a simple, practical way that’s easy to understand and remember. Most importantly, Loren gave us the confidence and tools to continue training at home. Thanks to him, Kula is becoming a dog we can trust around kids, other dogs, and in everyday situations—truly the dog of our dreams. We are so grateful for Loren and the work he did with our Goldendoodle, Kona at Off Leash K-9. Loren was truly amazing.  patient, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. Kona struggled with anxiety, excitement around guests, and basic manners, and the results have been so worth it. His behavior is so much better now and it has been truly life changing for us. We can now take him with us to places and enjoy walks even in Waikiki which we never felt comfortable doing before. It was really hard to leave Kona, but Loren gave us daily video updates which helped so much. Being able to see Kona every day and watch the progress he was making gave us so much peace and reassurance throughout the process. You can tell Loren genuinely cares about the dogs and the families he works with. We are so blessed and our family is eternally grateful. We appreciate you so much, Loren!! Off Leash was my dog Chloe's second go around with training.  She is a large breed and I am not, so her size was a little intimidating - even as a pup - in group training with the other company.  This is when I turned to Off Leash K9.  Chloe and I have learned so much from our trainer Crystal.  Prior to training, Chloe was very reactive - chasing cats and chickens on walks, barking at passersby.  Several times I was pulled onto the ground trying to control all 70 pounds of her.  Needless to say, I had to walk her before sunrise (less distractions) and couldn't take her to a park...which was sad.  Now, thanks to Off Leash K9 - specifically our trainer Crystal - my 70-pound pup walks next to me, stays and sits on command and we can pass cats without problems.  We have also been to two parks so far without issue.  She is calmer in the truck and even when people visit. I can't say enough good things about Crystal.  The proof of her compassion, patience and undeniable understanding of dog (and human), psychology is obvious in the transformation of my sweet Chloe from a wild, rambunctious and selective listener to the dog that I have always dreamed of having.
